prx984
sounds like the new cooler isnt up for the job. try taking the side of the case and have a fan blowing from outside in, that might help you determine whats doing it.
Jeremy
Artifacts can be caused either by overheating or outdated drivers. Update your video drivers if necessary, use a can of compressed air on your PC outside (not in the house!) and clean it out. Make sure the new cooler is working correctly. ringfinger
How long were you running with a broken fan? Possible you damaged the card?
LLXX
Ensure the heatsink is affixed firmly and making good contact with the GPU serface. Thermal compound in the joint is recommended.
m16si
I fear for the worst.... I think i damaged my graphic card... I ran about 3 days with broken fan...Im so p***ed off ATI should make addition to Control Center that would shutdown PC if temperature on GPU reached dangerous level....But i have new problems... I tried to install new drivers, but i can't get Direct3d Acceleration and AGP Texture Acceleration to work in Dxdiag...Do you have any suggestions ?I fear i will have to buy new card :( ps I attached new sink+fan good i also used Titan Nano paste... And the problem isn't in cooler installation.Thnx
