Cleartype was off, turning it on just makes the text fuzzy.

Same here. Don't know why they called it "Cleartype", I get headaches from trying to read the text if it's enabled.

Love cleartype. Especially with the new Segou UI fonts.

I know SegoeUI has been designed to be nice-looking when anti-aliased or so. it maybe has something to do with that.

Anyway, I'm really happy I disabled it before coding various things again. :wacko:

19" is decently sized (you can actually use it), while 17 is too small (ok for a laptop, but not for a desktop monitor) - it's just too small. There is a huge difference.
