Let me join that person . I’m of to finish my master degree b/c a specialty isn’t good enough .

Who cares about the fabrication process, if they (AMD and iNTEL) need a smaller process they will start to use it. A smaller process isn’t necessarily better, it’s just cheaper.

For now: 32bit apps get an iNTEL in a month or 2, for 64bit get an AMD.

The mobile versions will be out on the end of this year if iNTEL is fast enough .

edit: Did´t read anandtechs news but it was already known .

wow those results actually suck alot. i was expecting the core 2 duo to be a huge increase in performance but instead its maybe 10% faster in 3d stuff... gaming is exactly the same, same with power consumption. so i dont see the point if getting core 2 duo if you can find a core duo processor for cheaper.

The core 2 duo is running the same price as core duo. As far as the gaming issue, THE VIDEO CARD is what is limited it. The comparson is showing the difference between the two even thou they are the same price.
