s24ever Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I'm a total novice with computers and everything and i got a burnt cd of photoshop 7.0 . There are all these other files and folders but i can't find the setup file. WHen i open the adobe photoshop thing that is 15 mg, a dialogue box pops up and says "could not complete request because of missing or invalid personalization information"i have no idea what's wrong. Does this mean that the cd i burnt is useless..?PLEASE HELP
LLXX Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Press "create thread" button only once... otherwise you end up creating duplicate threads.Does it come in a .MSI file? You might need Windows Installer (get it from M$)
liquidguru Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Does this mean that the cd i burnt is useless..?how did you burn the CD? you can't just burn the Photoshop directory from a PC onto a CD...
Jeremy Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 yeah, if you burn C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop to a CD, that won't do you any good. You'll need the installation files on another CD.
