EchoNoise Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 sudo isswich user DO... basically if you don't specify a user after sudo is defaults to root... from there you'll most likely need a password... then it runs the SU command as root Early in the morning here... very sleepy still... *yawn*
SiMoNsAyS Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 i use sudo to obtain administrative priviledges. on your ut2k3 dvd there must be a script to install it on linux, just run that script being root.you'll be prompted where to install blah blah blah, then just typing a command the game window will appear note: not sure if fedora uses sudo... never tried it...

EchoNoise Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Mine never got installed via the native installer... It never worked because it was a dvd, it kept on asking for CD #2 no matter what, And thats the special edition too... so yeah
