forgotten admin password from router

Hi,

I configured my router few weeks ago. Yesterday I wanted to change some things.

Alas I oriented, that I forgot admin password. I have linksys WAG54G, I want to

get my pass. I don't want to reset all features, because I don't have time enough.

Anbody have any ideas? please help

Hopefully you saved a backup of your config, as you should always do, because you need to do a hard reset.

You can try to hack into it but that would likely take you much longer than resetting it and rebuilding your config.

Just bite the bullet and reset it. Lesson learned: maintain a backup of your config.

Or call your isp, maybe there is a backdoor.

How do i do a hard reset?

It is usually done by unplugging the power from your router, holding the reset button for about a minute, then keep holding it while plugging the router's power back in for another couple of seconds.
