Windows is ignoring the $oem$ directory.

I don't know whether it's because I've overlooked something or because it's a volume license disk or something else entirely, but nothing in the $oem$ directory is being copied to the hard drive during the installs. I have the directory format like so:

Root
   |
   -I386
   |
   -$OEM$
		 |
		 -$1
		 |
		 -$$
			 |
			 -System32

But nothing comes across.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear 'em.

What does your winnt.sif file say?

in that case is your winnt.sif file correct?

does it have the switch oempreinstall=yes in it? under the [unattended] section

Have you added the following line to your winnt.sif

OemPreInstall = Yes

Yeph, on more vote to Winnt.sif's "OemPreInstall = Yes", you probably have set it to "No". Good luck

put the $oem$ folder in the root of your CD.

(put it inside i386 for floppy installs is what i remember)
