XtremeMaC
do you know where the files are placed?are they dll's, are they being registered?if not for example I copy my plugins with copy commandif you know where and how it puts the file you could just create a setup for your self and install silently with installshield devstudio 9might be longer but i'll get back to you as soon as I download one of those language packs bare with me for a while
XtremeMaC
hey its not as bad as u thinkits very easy just copies two files into nero if you only want nero to changecopy nero***.nlscopy nero***.txt into :\program files\ahead\neroand when u open up nero goto preferences and choose your language thats it!and add this to your registry just for neroWindows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\General]"Language"="ESP,ENG"esp = spainI don't know what language u're trying to install but u live somehere in spain u might not even need to go to preferences if you import this reg first try it. Thanatos
Sygate 5.5 confused me, it installed the first time, but when I tried to test it for my unattended install, I couldn't find the file to execute, I've tried it extracted and unextracted. DarkBringer
No, Thanatos, you don't need to extract it. The original file is over 8 MB and if you extract it, it's about 5 MB. (Don't ask me why)So like I said before it's the .exe file that uses the switches.Meaning: spf.exe /QB Reboot=Supress(Uninstall your copy, reboot and try it again. It works)
Alex123
I am new here.Hi everybody.I am not sure if people like Easy CD Creator or what, but I would like to install it.I underustand it is a InstallShield setup, and it needs to create a setup.iss file.I undurstand also I have to run this command: setup.exe -R.It doesn't run from there, so I read it should be used setup.exe /s /v/qb, which installs it, but I am wondering how to manage the serial key.As I said, I am a newbie and willing to learn. Thanks for your help.Alex123
Aaron
have you checked to see if setup.exe is a compressed archive containing a bunch of files, including another setup.exe and a setup.iss?
Alex123
Thanks for your feedback.Well, the intallation folder shows a three diferent icons that could be used to initialize the installation process.Setup.exe, launch.exe and ecdc5.msiAll of them get me to the same InstallShield Wizard.I also searched for *.iss files in the application folder and nothing is found.I am assuming this is a special application, since it doesn't act like a normal Install shield act. Also, I think I have to design a registry hack to overcome the serial key step. What I think it has to be done is to silently install it with the following command:setup.exe /s /v/qb and then apply the registry key.Let me someone know if I am totally lost.Thank you. jrebeiro
Does anyone know if there is a silent installation switch for Quicktime 6.4? I have searched all over the web and found nothing. -BrianDownload the Full Installer and create a file called QuickTimeInstaller.ini in the same folder. Paste the following into this file.[QTSETUP] license_option=0 no_dialogs=true registration_dialog=false supress_speed_dialog=true install_qtjava=false install_qd3d=true show_sample=false show_readme=false show_programfolder=false install_qtinfo=trueWhen you run the installer it will see this file and install quicktime. I wish I had some more information on customizing QuickTimeInstaller.ini. Anyone else who has more info can post here.Enjoy!
