Polar bears can change colour - well, only when treated with certain drugs. Vets were called to Mendozas Zoo in Argentina to treat Pelusa the polar bear's skin infection, and the drugs turned her snow white pelt violet. She should return to her normal colour within a month:

Weird, but it actually looks kinda cute ... unatural, but cute :rolleyes:

Hmmm ... I wonder if theres a similar drug thats compatiable with humans :)

Actually a polar bears coat is not white.

its clear, like optical fibers, the reason it looks white is because it defracts the light. a polar bears skin is actually black too.
