pcandpc
Hello?I am using a ps2 optical microsoft wheelmouse via usb-to-ps2 adapter on xp.I have used this mouse happily for overseveral years already.Recently, I am noticing that a single clickon a web link sometimes does not work.I would have to just re-do the click. Is my mouse aging and needs to be changed? Thanks. puntoMX
Yes, properly the dipswitch for your mouse button is a bit out of shape after years. But before you replace it, it would be a good idea to check the mouse on another computer; it still could be software . LLXX
Click harder. I'm using probably the same mouse as you (Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical) for over 5 years now... haven't had any problems with it yet.
mark
I use the same mouse with the same connecter. It quit working. I plugged the mouse into an USB port and all was fine with the mouse.DL
pcandpc
Hi all,Thanks.DL,I guess I could just remove the usb-to-ps2adapter and try something as you did. However, I'm using a kvm switch wherethe mouse interface is only in ps2 style.Since this is not that big of a deal, I'll justkeep using the mouse or replace it at someother time.
