May 3, 200620 yr I have a wireless mouse on one of my mce machines, I was wondering if the range can be extended to 6 feet, it is a mini wireless mouse, and it is as close as possible to the connector, which is blocked by nothing
May 3, 200620 yr so it doesnt work when its 6 feet away? if so then youre out of luck unless u get a better mouse
May 4, 200620 yr Get the G7. I've been able to control my PC from a few rooms away. No, but seriously - there's no easy way to boost the signal strength coming from your wireless mouse. You'll either have to buy a new mouse or find something else. Also, can't you just move the receiver closer?
May 4, 200620 yr You could mod the reciver, soldier an anttena on it somehow after you've popped it apart and figured out where the contacts are. Add a second anntenna on the mouse
May 4, 200620 yr Author well here is the setup, the mouse is needed on a slanted suface about 3 feet higher than I can put the reciever, then there are about 6 feet between the mouse and the reciever, it seems very directional though, point the reciever a degree higher and it works, a degree lower and it doesnt, but any suggestions that do not involve modding my mouse are welcome, thanks
May 4, 200620 yr move the receiver closer. i know u said that u cant but maybe u can tie it or tape it to something so its even with the mouse.
