nicedreams
I'm having a problem using this to where when I create a file it always add's adware.ini with the correct other files.Like I'll do one for Firefox and it has firefox.ini and adaware.ini and it does that every time I create something. nicedreams
I got think i fixed it. Was a wierd error though. The first time I tried this I did Ad-aware and found it created the ad-aware.ini also in the program directory as the nlite creator. Deleted that and now I don't get ad-aware.ini in every cab file. T D
Maybe I wasn't clear. [SetupData]CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK" This is an extract of svcpack.inf. Say you change it to [SetupData]CatalogSubDir="\i386\SERVICE" and rename your svcpack dir to service, then your svcpack dir is now service and all hotfixes, stuff created with addon maker etc go in services not svcpack. Svcpack.inf still has to be called svcpack.inf so that's ok, but it would be good to have an option in which you can set the svcpack dir in the cab if you've changed it so you don't have to change the folder in the cab.Still not clear, but that's as simple as I can explain it. It seems a bit pointless I execute a few progs via addon maker svcpack.inf btw I get an error, you know "access is denied, make sure the disk is not write protected or in use" etc. I asked ppl and they suggested changing the svcpack dir and it works at service. {_carnificina_}
in nlite svcpack.in_ [setupData]CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCACK"this change would have that to be manual not? [setupData]CatalogSubDir="\i386\SERVICE"
T D
Yeh but I mean you know the files of the cab.addon.cab----------------svcpack | setup.exe----------------Entries*.iniI'm saying that you should give an option to change the svcpack dir to other name that you have put in [setupData]CatalogSubDir="\i386\xxxxx"Not the filename, svcpack.inf Edited June 27, 2006 by T D

T D
Yep. But make the SERVICE dir option changeable. Some people might want something different if they get the same error as me.
