gdogg Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 (edited) yah and depending on what socket it is, heat is your issue no matter what, even with stock heatsink, but those dont often limit overclocks as much as you'd think on an intel, cause they are used to being hot, try for 3.4, I'd be amazed if it didn't do that on stock heatsink, but make sure your case has a few fans around the cpu heatsink, or atleast 2 case fans, when your power supply doesn't pull away any heat from the processor.
