ripken204 Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 aegis i told u it was b/c u f***ed up ur vid card! lolwhen u hear silicon make a crunching sound, that doesnt usually mean a good thing
Scubar Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Aren't you the one that wanted to overclock ur 7900GT ? Im guessing you must have attempted it and it went horribly wrong.
nmX.Memnoch Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Yep...that card is a goner.How many is that now?
Aegis Posted April 24, 2006 Author Posted April 24, 2006 Nope ! Not a goner yet...Turns out the issue is that with any generation other than NV40, the water quality at high would cause the water to glitch. Lowering the setting to medium fixed it, although I would prefer high since I have 8xAA and 16xAF and I'm still not suffering any lag ! Time to get a higher-res monitor.
