averagecdn Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I have a drive that gets mapped to do some table updates on a laptop. Now when I look in my computer it is showing a P drive mapped however you click on the mapping and it comes back and says bad username or password which is not the problem. If you check net use from a command prompt the drive does not exist. Anyone know how to get this to remove from My Computer.... Its a big problem
nitroshift Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 you don't delete it, you must disconnect it as klasika rightfully suggests.
chilifrei64 Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 I actually had a problem with this about a week or so ago.. after i deleted the key under hereHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MountPoints2that was causing the problem and rebooted, all was well..
