Phew, I thought some thing else ;).

lol, i was looking at that pen technique for the extra voltage, but 20 quid! for a pen i have to come up with another way maybe.

also do you think it would work if i flash my bios from p1.70 to a modded bios, im really curious but this i downloaded it from overclockers.com but havn't plucked up the courage to try it.

I used moded BIOSes before, for VGA and mobos. I will ensure you that many tests were done, it just to show hidden setting so they only edit the screen you see in your BIOS.

I know the pens are expensive, but as far as I know you can remove the lines so you will still have warranty, the cheap way is so solder a bridge on those 2 contacts.

I tried the modded bios but i get error 3 file not found or some such thing, maybe i need to try a different rewriteable cd or something as i have no floppy drive.

@ m1ck,

Any luck? If you need some help just ask me, PM me or what ever.

I have one more link:

http://www.ocinside.de/html/workshop/s754p...754_pinmod.html

Most people without the voltage MOD are getting the CPU up to 300MHz FSB, also clockGEN now has a new version and works with your mobo, try it out ;).

EDIT: If the link doesn´t work go here and look for the 754 pin MOD.
