They used to develop a 16-bit, DOS version as well - now its not anymore, since lavalys bought it out.

There won't be development anymore, of the DOS version - so it will fall behind, in terms of hardware recognition and chipset compatibility.

The windows version is well, and good.

im at 45 now, always stays around that

Mine stays below 50oC with a quiet rear system fan and dual fan PSU assisting cooling. I use the Asus Probe to keep temperatures in check.

Normally 45oC idol, 49 - 50oC loaded.

When I had an Athon Thunderbird (800Mhz) it once got over 80oC when I forgot to remove the plastic backing from the heat sink grease pad

Once that was sorted, it was fine!

Mine never goes higher then 55°C when it's realy hot in my room. (summer)

My motherboard and Geforce FX 5600XT are watercooled with

a Innovatek XXS kit.

The lowest temp I had 25°C (no cpu Load) and 35°C (full load).

What's the most important improvement? the noise!

My machine is cool and quiet!

OC'd Athlon XP 2600 T-bred

Stays about 52 degrees celsius. Got a couple things to do to get it under 50.

I use Motherboard Monitor 5.

My next machine will use liquid cooling.

I was thinking I'm gonna make a deal with a company that makes refrigerators (and/or freezers) and have them make a cabinet for me that actually is a fridge/freezer. Then you'll see who gets the lowest temperature. hah!

My highest was something like 65°C

The mobile processors seem to be good at keeping heat down - and some of them are compatible with desktop MoBos too! YAY!!!
