dirtwarrior Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Just wondering if there is any good free iso tools out there
nmX.Memnoch Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 What sort of tools are you looking for?ISOBuster is one of the best, IMO, when it comes to opening just about any CD/DVD Image format. It'll let you extract files from an image without having to burn the image.http://www.isobuster.com/
dirtwarrior Posted April 11, 2006 Author Posted April 11, 2006 That looks like a good one. Like that or ultra iso. winiso etc but free
spacesurfer Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Does ISO buster let you mount ISO images?I used to use WinImage which let you mount images. However, some ISO images did not mount correctly. I switched to PowerISO. It also lets you mount ISO images. It's much easier to use and is more versatile. It won't let you create floppy images, however, like WinImage.
pawan Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 ISO Recorder powertoy is the best, it is small and easy to use.You can download it form here.Pawan
Jeremy Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 For it being the best, I sure haven't heard of it before. It may be the best to you since you're obviously used to it, so therefore you suggest it. ISO... lemme see, for dealing with ISOs and other image formats, UltraISO would have to be the best because:- It's frequently updated.- Feature packed- Not free, but it rocks.- I've compared it to MagicISO and it outperforms it in terms of converting between image formats.- WinISO and PowerISO are jokes.
