hrcs Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Please tell me which one you guys think should I choose coz I'm planning to get a laptop.
puntoMX Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Depents where you like to use your laptop for, a little bit more input would be welcome .
hrcs Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 Depents where you like to use your laptop for, a little bit more input would be welcome .I'm gonna be using it for everything except gaming (programming, word processing, running virtual machines, surfing the net, etc.)
puntoMX Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Then I would go for a CPU that uses less power, and make sure you will get a 6-cell battery.
Zxian Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 I'd say the Intel Core Duo in either case. Your main performance boost when it comes to gaming will come from your video card - chances are both CPUs will be able to handle about the same. The Core Duo is a pretty rock solid setup for any user. And puntoMX... why not get a 9-cell battery? That's what I've got (with my Sonoma core).
ripken204 Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 either will be fine, whatever u can get cheaper, you wont be upset
Scubar Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 even though im an avid AMD supporter i would have to say go with the intel chip, its far more efficient when it comes to number crunching and other such boring tedious tasks.
puntoMX Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 And puntoMX... why not get a 9-cell battery? That's what I've got (with my Sonoma core). LOL yeah, what I wanted to say is: DON´T buy a laptop with a 4-cell battery .
