Hi i would like to know which of these will give the best quality DVD rip to 1 cd

Nero Recode, TMPEG Enc or DivX

and also if u know of any tutorial for TMPEG enc from DVD to MPEG1 / 2

TMPGenc is usually for MPEG-1, 2. If you want to compress a DVD to 1 CD (700 MBs) use XviD.

it go with tmpgenc myself for converting to mpeg-1,2. if u have a divx compatible dvd player then u can use Gordian Knot Rip Pack and rip to Xvid and then just put the 700mb avi file onto a normal cdr as data and it will play perfectly
