I cant seem to get any tabs to display, although the code is all there in the configCache file, any idea where the option to enable them is?

Uncheck the box "This is a shared computer so don't display my tabs" in Tools > Options > Privacy.

Where can I download MSN 6.0 from, I tried the site, but is said I wasn't authorized.

Change this:

to this:

AND

this:

<PreRollEnabled>99</PreRollEnabled>

to this:

<PreRollEnabled>1</PreRollEnabled>

um... you're kidding. that will revert everyone's tabs back to as it originally were in 2 days and all the custom added tabs would disappear.

The proper location for Win2k/XP is:

C:\Documents and Settings\<WindowsUsername>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<MSN Account>\ConfigCache.Xml

And for Win98 is:

C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<MSN Account>\ConfigCache.Xml
