[question] make icons on the desktop bigger

Is the a program or something that will allow you to inlarge the icon size on the desktop BUT not the startmenu or My docs or anything else? lemme know! :hello:

I do not think this is possible with the default windows UI. A 3rd party app. may help you , if at all it exists.

But as far as i know , you cant do that with windows XP

you can do this with windows

right click on your desktop and choose properties

click the appearance tab and click on effects

then check the Use Large Icons button

Apply and ok

this makes the desktop icons larger

and also the icons in your start ment if its the other one not classic

Start Icon packager and go to Settings. There you can find the oprion icon size.

se the problem with this is... it make ALL ICONS that size and i said i olny wanted them bigger on the desktop! but thx anyway :)

With Icon Packager you change indeed the size of the Startmenu together with the iconsize of the Desktop. The change with the Win properties is possible but you could only chosse bigger. Not the exact size.
