LLXX Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 (edited) its givin me lines across the screenProbably bad VRAM. Unless you know how to solder SMDs and can find where to buy replacement chips, it's not worth repairing. New and much better card would cost less. Edited February 13, 2006 by LLXX

nmX.Memnoch Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 If any chip on the card is bad flashing the card's firmware isn't going to fix it. Unfortunately it just sounds like your card is going/has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
kalo Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I'll take a stab in the dark. It's an old card so try cleaning out the dust from the fan, its possibly a heat problem. Happened to me a few times.-k
Vitalix Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Try 2 things first:Flash the motherboard to a different revision - or did this happen just 'one day'?Also, try the card on a different mobo, just to rule out that it's a problem with the AGP port or the motherboard. Also, flashing the card won't hurt, if it's bad, it will be bad after the flash. Can you tell me the part number and manufacturer of the card?
