Greenthumb Posted January 12, 2006 Share Posted January 12, 2006 Hi there everyone.I was wondering if someone knows where i could find and edit the background for this screen.It's the screens where you activate windows, setup your internet connection and specify users.This is the last screen i need to modify for my customized Windows.For my project so far, check http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=65120Thanks for all your help .PS. prathapml Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 Check out the deploy.cab (on the XP disc, in "\SUPPORT\TOOLS" folder) for 2 .CHM files with info about this & more...@Greenthumb:Why do you want to name those files? It will get renamed automatically.For example, open a CMD prompt, go to the OOBE folder. Then run the command:makecab msoobe.exe That will give you a compressed CAB file in the same folder, called MSOOBE.EX_You can even modify oobeinfo.ini to auto-create users & use the branding section to put in your custom logos in place of the "Microsoft Windows XP" that you see at top-left.
