If so return it, if not; open the external housing and take out the drive to test it inside a normal computer (unless it’s a 2.5", then you need to buy an adaptor from 2.5" to 3.5").Good luck

How old is it, do you have guarantee for this disk?
neiantrim Posted January 11, 2006 Author Posted January 11, 2006 i took it out of the caseing and installed it into my pc, it works perfectly. so i think il just keep it in there
