tj_reich Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Ok guys, Im going to apologize now for this but Im new and need some detailed help. I have downloaded Age of Mythology and it came in the form of bin/cue files. 2 questions: 1) Can I make an iso from these files. If so, what is the easiest way (I have Nero, WinISO, and Alchohol 120%) Could you provide detailed instructions? I am not very good with any of the prgrams...2) Is it possible just to create a cd OR install those files onto my PC without making an iso so I can play the game? If so, how? (Detailed please )
XPero Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Downloaded from where? no warez here!Anyway, use Nero to burn the image to CD or mount it with Daemon Tools, so you can play without "wasting" a CD. Also you can convert BIN to ISO with UltraISO.
tj_reich Posted December 24, 2005 Author Posted December 24, 2005 Ok, when you say use Nero to burn the image to a cd, you mean burn the CUE and BIN files as data?? What do you mean by mount it? As I explained, I am new, you'll have to talk to me like a child...Sorry Another question: I tried using WinISO to convert the bin to an iso, but it wouldnt allow me to add the cue file when converting. I made the iso but not sure if I did it right. It just said select your bin file. Can I burn the iso to a cd after converting just that? Or do I need to add the cue file somehow? Anyone know how?
trickytwista Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 yep show nero where the .cue file is and it will take care of the rest of job (assuming you use nero)no, in nero choose burn image, then show nero where the .cue file is.. thats it job done
tj_reich Posted December 24, 2005 Author Posted December 24, 2005 THanks! Just so I am clear. I only need to show nero where the cue file is and ignore the bin file correct? No special folder or path it needs to be in right?
Aegis Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Can't you just change the option in Nero from whatever your recorder is to image recorder and then save the image as an ISO?
phatcat42141 Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Just use MagicISO or UltraISO to convert the .bin file to an ISO file.
Jeremy Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 UltraISO is better than MagicISO. I use UltraISO.
