schif Posted May 25, 2003 Share Posted May 25, 2003 Does anybody know much about this reported bug in MSN Messenger 6.0:Zero1 reported this to me soon after MSN Messenger 6.0 leaked and Segosa notified me (through SLim Shady) as well: a simple nickname can crash contact(s) using MSN Messenger 6 on Windows 2k or XP and in some cases yourself, without any further effort! We decided not to publish the exact nickname, because this would spoil the fun for all people exploring the MSN Messenger 6 beta. Was this file previously patched before?If you have the original copy of msnmsgr.exe then restore it, and try to install Polygamy again.By the way, would you mind private messaging me the nickname causing this particular crash?
