Oleg_II Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 (edited) I found a file in my installation source - voodoo3.inf. I don't use this graphic adapter. Maybe take its files out of installation?Let's start working on removing from the source Graphic adapter drivers that we don't use.I created two files:1. GraphicAdapters.rdv removes files from DRIVERS.CAB BANSHEE.XXbanshee.sybanshee.dlCHIPSTECH.XXchipsd5.dlchipsm5.syINTELi740.XXi740dnt5.dli740nt5.syINTELi81X.XXi81xdnt5.dli81xnt5.syNV3.XXnv3.dlnv3.syNV4.XXnv4.dlnv4.sySiS300.XXsis300p.sysis300v.dlSiSV6306.XXSiS6306p.sySiS6306v.dlSiSV.XXSiSV.sySiSV256.dlTRIDENT.XXTRID3DM.XXtrid3d.dltrid3dm.sySGIU.XXsgiul50.dlsgiulnt5.syTGIU.XXtgiul50.dltgiulnt5.syTRIDKBM.XXtridkb.dltridkbm.syVOODOO3.XXvoodoo3.syvoodoo3.dlDid you notice these files - SiS300.XX, SiSV6306.XX, SiSV.XX and VOODOO3.XX? They are just the titles for the drivers. Maybe you need some of the drivers. In that case just delete their entries from RDV and find corresponding INFs in REM.3. GraphicAdapters.rem removes files from i386 folder banshee.inchips5.ini740nt5.ini81xnt5.innv3.innv4.inSiS300.inSiSV6306.inSiSV.intrid3d.insgiu.intgiu.intridkb.invoodoo3.in Edited December 12, 2005 by Oleg_II
tommyp Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 OlegII. Glad to see you back from your trip. We sort of missed you and your modding that you help us out with. Who wants to be the keeper and maintance person for the reduction files?
Oleg_II Posted December 11, 2005 Author Posted December 11, 2005 TommyP That was a long-long-long trip I thought you are also very busy recently Who wants to be the keeper and maintance person for the reduction files? Oh! Of cause, I do! I have some questions concerning reduction files for you. Will contact you a bit later (should think over all the questions).
tommyp Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Yea, I've been over my head lately and no time (or desire) to code hfslip more. If you have Q's for the reduction files and/or syntax, drop me a line. Once you get the reduction files all set, can you post a general thread with all of the files? I kind of like one stop shopping.
tain Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I second tommyp's request. A single post with all of the files and instructions would be awesome.
