I really hated the Metapad that ships with the Auto-Patcher, so I downloaded NotepadEx, changed the icon to the Vista Notepad icon and replaced all occurrances of "NotepadEx" with "Notepad" in a hexeditor. So it basically looks like vanilla notepad but with some extra features.

I find that it blends in very well with RP7.

I've done the same, but i've hacked it to use Lucida Console, 10 font by default.

I'll upload it if someone wants. :rolleyes:

NotepadEx is a really good application beside some minor problems (it does not ask to create non-existent file passed, and does not detect encodings reliably).
