maLiCiOuSoPtIoNs Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 is there a way you can burn playstation games with a regular burner?
Aaron Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 There's no special procedure behind it, the bin/cue or ISO can be just burned to CD using any burning application that supports the burning of image files. (Nero, Easy CD Creator, CD-Mate)Its your PSX that needs to be chipped to be able to read CD-R discs though.
gamehead200 Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 You mean you can just pop the PS1 game into your CD-ROM drive and copy it, or do you need some other program to do that?
zivan56 Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 Yes, it just shows up as folders and files when you put the cd-rom in.
Aaron Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 maLiCiOuSoPtIoNs was referring to burning them. If you want to copy them then I believe Alcohol 120% is able to do that, the protection on PSX discs are very easy to bypass.
gamehead200 Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 Boo! /me needs Mod Chip or needs a spring to do the swap!
Doggie Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 yeh aaron.. gamehead200 Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 Buy/sell, NO! Pretending to lend/borrow, NO! Making backups for yourself and no one else, YES!
