Xp Account Rename Folder Question

I'm giving this laptop to my Mom now and I've renamed the account, but I'm wondering if it's possible to rename the root my documents folder, because it still has my name on it, and how i would go about doing that.

Just rename the folder and change the registry value "Personal" contained in

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shellfolders.

I rename the path to the other name and restart and it goes back to my name for the my documents folder. do i need to change all the values in that folder? why isn't this working?

Crerate a new account for whatever username your mom wants to use, then delete your username account.

i guess i'm asking which part of it to edit. %USERPROFILE% seems like a value not a replacable string.

create a new account for your mom that has admin privliges, move the necasary files, and delete your folder.
