Geez, I can't believe you thought I was serious...4 classes isn't enough for me! I think I'm gonna go out and buy "Flash MX for Dummies"... :)

right ill add a more understandable guide later when i have the time but ill be going to school in a minute so i dont have the time

set ur canvas size by going to Modify > Document

Import ur files (these should be your buttons, wavs, mp3s etc)

Arrange your buttons on the canvas to make it look like a nav

Now u have to do this for every button that u have...

  • select the button and then right click and select 'Convert to Symbol', then select button and name it as u wish...
    then double click that button and then 4 frames should appear in the frames at the top of ur screen 'UP/OVER/DOWN/HIT'. these are the states.
    now right click the over frame and select 'insert keyframe' now insert ur text where u want it to be placed, so when u hover over the button th text appears.

however i do not have time to show u how to make the text fly in but ill go into detail when i get home later
