November 10, 200520 yr Hi there folks ...I've recently bought a Logitech Quickcam Messenger. The camera works fine but the installation package which is for the cam is huge and installs a billion unneeded things - among others a program to capture still images with - and even more annoying - creates folders in "\my documents" - and in "\My Computer" - Blast! - that really p****s me off! Anybody knows of a way to either -* install ONLY driversor* install other compatible sw w/o the bloat and sh*t- Thank you ...

November 11, 200520 yr With the logitech webcam messenger driver, I did the standard routine.Take the file, name driver.exe to driver.rar open the file with winrar Extract driver.DELETE THE DRIVER.EXE AND THE REST OF THE JUNK FROM MY PC This is a common way of opening alot of install files for applications and executible drivers.
