Synapse
found this today bundled with the ubcd4win. *This is not spam* lolbut has anyone here ever used IZArc as their primary Compression solution? I currently use the Windows Built-In Zip, Winrar, and 7zip.. but this prog says it can handle all of the above.I even made a Rar file, which i thought was impossible without winrar.. azagahl
I use IZArc and TUGZip all the time. Each is excellent, but not perfect enough to choose it over the other.Iceows also deals with a lot of different compression format, but it is crappier if I recall correctly. Then there are the tools like PowerArchiver and ZipGenius which are pure bloatware. Why does anyone make rar files anymore? 7z files are more compact and the 7zip tools are completely free. Jeremy
I tried IZarc out once and switched after 5 minutes of using it. I tend to stick with stuff that's a bit more *heard of*. Most people use WinRar, 7Zip or PowerArchiver.
suryad
I tried IZarc out once and switched after 5 minutes of using it. I tend to stick with stuff that's a bit more *heard of*. Most people use WinRar, 7Zip or PowerArchiver.Agreed. Somehow it seems that popular softwares get updated often and they became popular for a particular reason....because they turn out to be better in the long run.
