I never understood it either but it is something with the autorun feature that disables the refreshing of the contents of the media... crazy huh?

Man I hate this bug too! Refreshing doesn't work for me. I haven't disabled autorun. Usually it still allows me to view the contents of the cd\dvd. If I restart my pc with the new cd in the drive. It sees it properly upon reboot. But, thats a pain in the butt.

:} ived had the same problem only on nlite cds i made .im sure its not me but i made one just adding my key and still happen but never on a full install and believe me ived install xp more times than a nlite post .lol

I just reboot (Autorun is disabled too) when I see this or just ignore it.
