Please Help me.

After I've installed WXP with an unattended cd made with nlite the office file type icons do not show correctly.

I mean I do not have the default office 2003 icons for the common office files.

I tried to change them via folder options -->file types etc but they simply do not change.. I tried also with Iphile and did not succeed. It seems that icon changing is blocked by some registry value.

Can you help me please?

What registry value do I have to edit?

i would first try to download tweakui and look for the option "rebuild iconcache".

if it didn't work, open regedit and head to HKCR\.doc, HKCR\.xls, HKCR\.ppt. check the associations and if they link .ico files correctly
