angel0104 Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 is there any way that i can't prevent my dsl connection get lost? sometimes the ppp status get disconnected and i still have to reboot the modem manually by turning the power off. or is there any program out there that can do it for me? e.g. automatically restarts the modem in case of connection lost. thanks.
ripken204 Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 what exactly is the problem? it gets disconnected and you need to reboot the modem then its all good? b/c if that the problem then you cant rly do anything about it except contact ur isp and possibly get a new modem.

suryad Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 How about getting a router? I mean if you dont have one...and if you have one then check the settings in the router to make sure it redials asap if you drop the conn....
