Geez, for the past 2 months, all I've been receiving is the YAHA.K worm...Does anyone know why this worm is still around? I thought they had gotten rid of it....Anyway, at least my virus scan is picking it up...:)

Here's a lesson for the kids @ msfn

If you get an email from someone you do not know, and it includes a strange attachment, don't think its any good, or that its gonna make you rich.. Even if its from someone you know, it could be a virus from there computer (doh!).. Only open it up after you asked the person what it is or if they notified you before sending it..

This should freshen the minds of allot of the younger people @ MSFN..

I know you guys are looking forward to "Technical Information for Newbees Part II", it's coming soon..

lol..

Another suggestion is to view all emails as Plain Text only. This should prevent any scripts that can be embedded into HTML emails that opens attachments without you knowing.

Send all the mail to your wife's account (or girlfriend) and open it there. If there are nor viruses move them to your machine.

Tip. Send the bills to her machine!

Get rid of all computers in your home, and never touch another one.Live a life where you don't have to worry about operating systems,e-mail attachments, playing the latest games on line and the rest of the stuff we discuss here at MSFN...............................................NoooooooooooooooooooooT :)
