hougtimo
had a look at msgina.dll, only seems to be the logon app tho, is there anyway to edit what the taskbar / window borders look like?thankstim
Martijn
XP uses uxtheme.dll for theme support, win2k doesn't have this file (copying it from a xp machine wouldn't help either....), so xp theme's won't work on 2k.Maybe you can try a alternative shell wich has theme support (like aston) to make 2k look like XP. -I-
ntoskernel.dll explorer.exe and lots of other files as wel, ## but if you realy want theme-soport, >> take uxthem.dl form windows-xp SP1 >> also take, explorer.exe system32.dll and perhaps 1 or 2 other files from XP as well, and put them on your windows 2000 install cd, (hav fun hunting for bsod's and buggs), and tell us if it works Edited October 1, 2005 by -I-
colemancb
i'm thinking about the only thing you can do is install windowblinds. stylexp doesn't work and just f***s up win2k...i just experienced that myself. =P
rjz
If your copy that file from xp to 2000 you will make some 2000 programs get an error. Someone did that at my work once.
