XP uses uxtheme.dll for theme support, win2k doesn't have this file (copying it from a xp machine wouldn't help either....), so xp theme's won't work on 2k.

Maybe you can try a alternative shell wich has theme support (like aston) to make 2k look like XP.

and perhaps 1 or 2 other files from XP as well, and put them on your windows 2000 install cd, (hav fun hunting for bsod's and buggs),

and tell us if it works

If your copy that file from xp to 2000 you will make some 2000 programs get an error. Someone did that at my work once.
