Mamoun
I'm using DSL with 256 speed, The default speed of downloading is 20-30 kps and I have no problem.after a while, the download speed gets very slow (4 kps! ) but the surfing speed is good, Using the default download manager of IE, it's so slow, but using any other download manager (I tried flash get and FDM) they are downloading at the default speed (25 kps) What's wrong with the IE download manager? and how I can fix that? Tel
imo the default IE download has always been hugely dismal. Just use FDM and all will be well.

Tel
Hmmm. FDM does that sometimes. For some reason it doesn't find the correct file. Unfortunately, in these case you will have to use the default IE downloading.

BF_63
Try the Sun downloader http://www.sun.com/download/sdm/download.xml it works great for large file downloads i used it to download Solaris 10 it was about 2gb and it only took 12hours with 256 DSL connection.
