drscouse Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 (edited) There are some very useful threads, which are liteally 10, 20, 30+ pages long, and grow by the week... for example, some of the stickys, which people add specific things to, like scripts, application installs/switches... etc...Is it possible to search within such a thread for a specific keyword/script/app??Some things I am looking for only appear to be found in threads that are very long, and I wondered if there is a more efficient way of finding out which particular pages the keyword can be found on, or do I have to check each one???Cheers Edited August 26, 2005 by drscouse
dman Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 (edited) I don't think you can search a thread, but on search page under "Result Type" you can choose "Show results as posts" Edited August 26, 2005 by dman
Martin L Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 what about you look a little little more down in the topic
JohnS Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 It seems that this essencial board feature is not working right. If you enter a word, it will look in the forum instead of just the topic.Or it is just me?
prathapml Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Not just you, its happening for me too.
SiMoNsAyS Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Not just you, its happening for me too.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>same issue here was working flawlessly last week or so

prathapml Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 There isn't really an urgent need for this....We'll be upgrading to 2.1 soon, so this bug might go away by itself.
xper Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 I don't get it. Just tested it out and it works well.
Nanaki Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 I don't get it. Just tested it out and it works well.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Nope, it searches for all topics.
