vyas_vipul Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 i was wondering if there is any way to start certain services when certain program startes... and stop them when program is exited... is there any way to achive this????
ripken204 Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 you could try autoit3 so that when u run the au3 file, it will change the reg values for the service(not sure if explorer need to be restarted or what), then it will start up the program, then when you exit it will change the reg values again.
Gouki Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Some Services will only be Stopped on XP restart when set to Manual or Automatic. So autoit wont work.

Search for it on www.softpedia.com.You can configure the program to certain services when you run a program and then restart them once the program closes... very useful for games goold luck
