i have 2.2 gigs free on my c: drive and i want to make it a gig smaller but when i do that in part magic and then it restarts to do it, it does nothing, the part magic screen comes up and says press any key to abort it from doing its job and after that it just boots into windows and doesnt partition c:

any idea why its being gay?

i don't know much about computers, but from what i do know, i don't think you can resize partitions unless you totally reformat the hard drive.

i googled this problem and u can resize the primary part

and i am able to resize logial parts

@wolfdeamon:  u can resize w/o format... @RIpken:  try reinstalling part magic... i nvr had problems w/ it

i actually just installed it for this job b/c i did a clean install a few days ago

ill also give those boot/recovery disks a try, ive used it before and hopefully it will allow me to do it

heh rip have u tried resizing it in safe mode?cause it works fine over here try reinstalling part magic

like i said im gunna try the boot disks but it will be tomorrow, im encoding stuff right now so i cant rly do it. how would safe mode make it any different tho? ill give it a try before those boot disks tho.
