Authoring a Video

I am just finishing this course at university where we had to build a robot. Last year one of the teams made a video that included some photos and video.

I was just curious if someone knew of a program that could help do that.

well u can go for VirtualDub or ne video editors like Sony Vegas pro or Windows Movie Maker.do visit www.videohelp.com/forum and in that user guides section many useful guides.also check out www.rita.lt for guides

I think that Samson (the guy who made that video) just used Windows Movie Maker (ugh ) for that video.

For the basics, it's alright. The movie quality isn't all that great. You could try using something like Vegas to create the original, and then compress it down with XViD or the like.

TMPGEnc DVD Author is really good.

DVDAuthorGUI is also good, and free. New versions come out frequently as the author fixes and improves stuff, making it easier and more efficient. A guy who posted a comment on the program's page on www.videohelp.com said he authored 75+ hours of DVD with the program, so I guess it's awesome.
