gamehead200 Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 How much do dual-processor motherboards go for in Canadian $$$?
HashDump Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 gamehead,It was the weirdest thing but I tried www.google.com and typed in Canadian PC stores and up came a whole slew of links like this ONE
FthrJACK Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 hash dump, that really is wierd! what a strange site that google is. Gamehead.. many games wont run on Dual CPU systems, so if your thinking of getting one and want to play games on it be warned. most modern games will run however.i should hopefully have got a dual Pentium 3 800Mhz machine in the auctions i went to the other day. might use it for my FTP and as a general file server, secondary i'net workstation.
gamehead200 Posted January 30, 2003 Author Posted January 30, 2003 I was thinking of making it a game server...
Robertson Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 i should hopefully have got a dual Pentium 3 800Mhz machine in the auctions i went to the other day...sorry to go off topic but...what auctions? online auctions or actual auctions in halifax?
FthrJACK Posted January 31, 2003 Posted January 31, 2003 you should run dedicated servers on it fine dude. dont install #xp on it if thats the case.the auctions where in halifax and dewsbury yes, Runecraft limited went bust, they had offices in boston and i think california too, but based real close to me, made a fair few dreamcast, PS2 and pc games.
MSNwar Posted January 31, 2003 Posted January 31, 2003 I use a Tyan board for my dual cpu system. Most people recommend Tyan for dual cpu systems.
