use the cd or chdir command. You can type cd /? at the prompt for

help. You can also type help for a list of commands and their use.

Is this the guide you're talking about?

http://unattended.msfn.org/intermediate/drivers/cd.htm

If it is then like the guide says each driver is different.

Some you can extract (but not all) by using winrar. sometimes you

can type setup.exe /? for a list of switches.

If all else fails search in the forums on the driver your trying to

extract. If you don't have winrar a search on google will find it for

you.

thats the guide im using, well trying to use

that cd/? stuff doesnt really help me:S

can anyone tell me how to change: 'C:\document and settings\user' to 'C:\UnattendedXp\XPCD\I386'

I agree with big poppa pump

If you're not willing to try to learn basic DOS commands your going

to have a hard time using some of the guides here.

CD /? tells you exactly what you want to know. Just take the

time to read it.

Goodday for you ;)

C:\document and settings\user>
type: 'cd /d "C:\UnattendedXp\XPCD\I386\"' (without ' ')
