Hi,

I have an Image of a MAC program on my PC.

I need to burn it in order to install it on the MAC.

I've tried:

  • NERO for burning - but I got an empty CD.
  • burning the Image as DATA an open it in the MAC.
  • WinISO to open and see the files
  • Alcohol%120
  • Roxio
  • 3 Virtual CD softwares

but couldn't see the files inside the Image.

What else can I do?

If the extension of the file is a *.dmg or *.bin then try to burn it on a regular cd... what i mean by that is under Nero make an ISO CD drag the file to the cd and burn. then put it in the MAC machine, can't guarentee anything will work but it is a try.

Just found something else... If u have XP this is usless so... i hope for u the best....

You could try burning the image as a file from the PC, and then copying the image file onto the MAC. From there, you should be able to use a MAC program to open/burn the CD. (I think)

did that...

Thats what i was think but then i found a program called Mac Drive, about 7mb, it will open and extract certain files, so far i can only extract .bin files.

will try...

Question... Why don't you just transfer the image file over the network if the Mac is on the same network? :}

Not on the same network, I tried burning the Image as a data file and open it in the MAC, with no luck...
