Skype new version popup

Greetings to you all!

I was wondering if anyone of you guys know how to disable this annoying popup? It popups up when the UA skype installation initiates which makes the installation Attended. Any Ideas?

I found a thread about this, but it didn't get any answer so I created a new one and was hoping that maybe this time, someone will answer.

I currently use the /SILENT - switch.

Thanks in advance!

i dunno why its not working for you, ive been using skype ever since it only had 10k ppl using it with its .72 beta model and the switches have been the same even for the latest version and thats a good few years

and all i use is /VERYSILENT /SP- and it works just fine

Actually guys, it didn't work :(. I don't know what caused it to work before, but this stupid :realmad: popup keeps coming up (don't know why they would like to implement such a annoying question).

Any suggestions? For now, I use these switches:

/VERYSILENT /SP-

how exactly are you testing your scripts,, me i like to test mine in VMware,, because it represents a clean instal in a virtual enviornment

if you just testing it straight from command prompt off your pc,, the switches may not be working/conflicting due to something in your pc,,

just a thought but let us know

Problem solved. I got to work by downloading skype once again. I guess my version was a bit of old. Still think that they implement such a stupid popup which ruins the whole UA installation if you don't have the latest version.

Anyway, thanks for helping me out all! :)
