gamehead200 Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 I believe for Windows 2000, it would be:shutdown -s
Win2k3EE Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 (edited) it's shutdown /s. Edited June 18, 2005 by Win2k3EE
HybridShadow Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 No just checked it is -s not /sTo find out open 'cmd' type shutdown (or shutdown /?)
HybridShadow Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 Sorry i didnt know that it was differentI wonder why they changed that little thing in Windows Server 2k3?
Zxian Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 I think it's because of the shutdown event tracker. Some of the switches there need the "-" key.
B|ue4EVer Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 shutdown ..... shutdown -s -f -t 5restart ......... shutdown -r -t 5abort any instance of those above .... shutdown -aare nice to be used as a bat file ..separatly
